to get vacant land

i have given my land on 20 years lease which expired in 2005.

there was only agreement to lease in 1985 to give land on lease for 15 years with condition to extend for further 5 years.

we have not received any rent since last 5 years.no any notice sent by me to him.no other papers are with me. i want possession.no taxes paid by him- I have paid all taxes which should be paid by him.

land is open as it was in agreement not to build any structure.

you may file suit for recovery and also damages claiming taxes paid by you,rent etc.consult a lawyer.

You can recover the possession by filing suit in the civil court of competent jurisdiction. Since agreed period already expired, you can also claim mense profits, damages etc. with arrears of agreed rent.

your remedy is to file a civil suit for ejectment, possession and recovery of rent/damages/mesne profit, after terminating the tenancy by serving upon tenant a notice.
