Dear Sir / Madam,

Is your Society already formed and is in the process of being registered ? If yes, an adhoc committee led by the Chief Promoter is deemed to be in operation till the Society is registered and the elections to the Managing Committee are held.

But for all practical purposes, the deemed Society may choose to follow the provisions of the bye-laws which require a prospective member to inform the Society for any major repair work being carried out in his premises. Permission is taken from the Society / Chief Promoter to safeguard that the member does not carry out any structural demolition of beams and pillars to endanger the building during the repairs.

To avoid conflict and unnecessary escalation of the matter, it is recommended that you submit a letter and obtain the approval of the Society.
