Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
My mother is willing to give her properties to her sons through will but put one condition that the sons should accept to leave my deceased fathers properties to her daughters or give the equal market value amount to them . Then only she is willing and otherwise her properties should be equally partitioned among all of her legal heirs including ladies and she likes to insert this clause in her will. a) May this type of will will be acceptable before the law?

Hi,
First of all this clause has to be cleared who acquired the property? Is it a self owned property of your mother, jointly owned by your father and mother or inherited property. If it is a self owned property she can treat the property in whatever way she wants? If not then its a different issue.
