What is the procedure to get a Probate? How log does it take to get a Probate order?

A probate order is like any other case to be instituted in the court. It takes quite a long time. The court may issue notice not only to the respondents but also to the general public. Therefore, even in an uncontested case, the process may take six months to one year. In case the will is contested, it may take years.
