transfer of ancestral property

My father has inherited a small peice of land through partition ( hindu family)

The value of the property is 4 lacs . I had piad my sister her share of RS 2 lacs . Can i be advised as to what is the processs & the documents required to get the property transfered to my name

At the time of making payment to your sister, you were required to obtain a "settlement" or "relinquishment" deed from her; Based upon her consent, you may approach the authorities for transfer of property in your name.
