Contract Copy

Will a copy of a signed contract between to companies work as well as the original signed contract in any or all cases? If the two companies went to court would the copy hold up?

Re: Contract Copy

If the authenticity of the copy is challenged by other parties to the contract, then the contract copy will not be enforceable unless the court agrees that the copy is authentic. If the matter is litigated, then the parties will have a chance under the rules of civil procedure to compel the other parties to either agree to the authenticity or produce evidence of inauthenticity.
