Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

I have an order to appear in court for a bill from 2008. Is there a statue of limitations. And if I don't appear what can happen

There is a statute of limitations. But that may not bar proceedings against you if the creditor filed their case on time. You had best appear in court to find out what's going on.
