Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

Im confused
I was asked to come in for questioning, when I siad I wanted a lawyer I was arrested and charged with sexual miscondust in the presence of a minor. when I was being processed, I had more cash than my bond and the arresting officer laughed and charged me with 2 D felonies. The victom's parents and the victom called the procicuter and said that the detective embellished their staments and they wouldnt come to the trial and that they wanted the charges dropped. Now the procicuter is calling them and threating them with jail if they dont testify. I was just told by the procicution that if I didnt plead guilty before the end of July, They are going to change the D's to C felonines. I was wondering if all this is even legal? Changing statments so they can get a charge. Then double it not once but 2x. Also what they are doing to the witness's. It all doesnt seem right.
