Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Can a judge judge someone guilty without hearing both sides of the story? Literally heard the plaintiffs side and said we are out of time and passed judgment as guilty! Is that even legal?

If there is a "plaintiff", as opposed to a prosecutor, then this was not a criminal case, but a civil one. If the state of Indiana presented evidence and you were not given the same right, you can appeal your conviction and sentence.
