Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
plea offer
in my boyfriends plea offer it says sentence: 180 days to MCJ/ alternative facility of which the state recommends a cap of 18 days to be executed and the balance suspended. what does that exactly mean?

He has a 6 month sentence, he must serve 8 days the rest is suspended to probation. If he violates probation they will want the other 172 days to serve.
