Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

Hello. I was recently terminated for having a prior felony conviction after working two months for the company. I was never asked about my prior convictions during the hiring or orientation process. Is this legal?

Unless you have a written individual or union contract, the answer is yes. Your employer does not need to have any reason at all to fire you, as long as you are not fired because of race, gender, etc.. Prior criminal history has no protected status under the law.
