Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

How can I retrieve property of mine from someone who will not respond or reply to my attempts to schedule date and time for retrieval? This person has ceased all communication ever since the first attempt. We were friends for many years. My family was evicted from our home and had nowhere to go but family members homes. We have a 65 inch TV that went to my sister's garage. My family moved into a motel after living arrangements with family did not work out. Our friend helped me transport it from my sister's garage. We was taking it to my motel room since I had room for it. During the drive back to the motel, an argument between my husband and I resulted in me not returning to motel that night and staying with this friend. He and I took tv inside his place and put it on floor so it would not get damaged or stolen from his Durango. Two days later I went to friends house to visit and he had it hooked up and on his TV stand. My husband and I were not planning on staying in motel any longer and were separated. Neither my husband or I had a place to store television, so an agreement between this friend and I was made. He already had it hooked up and on his TV stand, so in exchange for storing it he could continue making use of it in his home up until I got into a place of my own and I would arrange a date and time to get it at that point. I got my own place and sent him a message letting him know and asked when a good day and time for him would be for me to pick it up. I never received a response but have proof he read message the same day I sent it. The results have been the same with my other attempts. All I want is my TV back, I worked very hard to have it.
