Type Your Question Here...I was arrested for a DUI in st joseph county Indiana this spring. I went to my coury dates with my lawyer twice and the charges were not filed yet a month after my arrest so my lawyer got the case dismissed. Since the case was dismissed am i in the clear of can they bring the case back against me. Im asking because i just got a summons for for court for the same dui?

The prior case may have been dismissed without prejudice (meaning they can be refilled), or never filed in the first place. Ask your lawyer for clarification.
