Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I became the caretaker of a elderly man about 12 years ago. He decided to leave my house. My name has been on his bank account since he moved in. Do i have the right to take his final expenses out of his account?

If he has expressed his wishes at terminating your relationship, helping yourself now without his express agreement is buying yourself a lot of potential trouble, and I would not do it.
