Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I filed an intent to relocate motion to move to a new town about 45 minutes away and in a different time zone but still the same state. Before the 90 day mandatory notice was up I was kicked out of the house. I was forced to make a quick decision about the living situation for my children. I had a choice of the house we planned to move to or my car. I have to let my ex know that we have moved before his visitation this weekend. How can I keep from making a bad situation worse. What can I say that won't come back to hurt me in court?? And can I be held in contempt?
