Guardianship

My daughter and her husband are both active duty Army. They are both getting deployed and I will have my 16 month old grandson. What type of paperwork can she and I sign authorizing me to do what ever is necessary for him as well as get him insured under my medical insurance

Re: Guardianship

You should check the language of your insurance policy or talk to your agent. Most policies alow coverage for a guardianship situation. I do not know what county you are in, but I know that Lake County has a consent guardianship procedure which can be done in one court hearing on a walkin basis.
