owed child support

My father passed away in 2001 without ever paying my mother any child support that was court ordered. He moved away to Colorado and she could never find him. Is there anyway to receive any of the money owed?

You need to hire an attorney to look into this. Yo do have a claim against his estate. The issue is whether it is too late and what law applies.
