Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Is temporary custody still in affect after making residency in another state.

My question is, if a person gets temporary custody in the state of Indiana and that person moves to the state of Washington and establishes residency with the childs mother. Then later comes back to the state of Indiana and has not been here long enough to establish Indiana residency again, is that temporary custody paper still valide?

The most recent order is the one that is in effect.

However, if no further action since the provisional order has been taken in more than a year, the whole case might have been tossed out for failure to prosecute.

My answer might change, depending on other facts and circumstances that you didn't mention.
