underage son gets underage girlfriend pregnant

my underage stepson was left alon with his underage girlfriend by her mother for 2 hours. the girl bacame pregnant. what are our and our son's legal obligations. we want the child put up for adoption but the mother and daughter refuse and say they will raise the child. now the girl is badgering my son to take a part in the birth, etc of this baby. we do not want him to take part in any of this yet we want to do whatever we must do as far as what we are responsible for. do we have any say in who raises this child. these people are already on welfare. what are our legal responsibilities and those of our son as far as this baby goes if it is proven that this is my son's child?

You have no say until the baby is born. If it is your son's, he has the right to petition the court for custody. If he wins, the mom has Visitation rights and must pay child support, if he loses, he has Visitation rights but must pay child support. Your son can not be required to participate in prebirth activities.
