Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana
Can a person file a civil suit in a drunk driver car accident after an insurance settlement was reached (bills and i guess pain and suffering)? The drunk driver had no car insurance and pled guilty to his third felony DUI. This is in Indiana. Thanks!

If you signed a release for an insurance settlement through the other person's insurer,you no longer have a right to obtain anything directly against the driver.
