Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana
We have lived in a family owned property for 7 years with no lease. We have paid all utilities and upkeep to the property to keep it from falling in. Now we are being told by the owner of the house to vacate the premises with no notice and he would be able to entire the house and any point in time without us being present. Could you please let me know what rights we have since she has been fully aware that we live here for the last 7 years, has never paid for anything (property taxes included), has never asked for rent, ask never asked how the property was doing or anything. Can you please let me know what rights we have since we have never signed a lease.
