Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

My child was playing at the local Children's museum in their toddler area. There is a small door to enter the toddler area from the big kid area, and my older child accidently smashed my younger childs finger in the hinge side of the door. This is a new play area, only open about a month. There are no visable signs.

As a result, my childs finger tip was nearly severed. He was rushed to the hospital, where he had surgery to reattach the fingertip. Is the museum liable for the medical bills?

Take pictures of the door both sides and resubmit this with the photos if LAWGURU allows you to do so as it is impossible for me to tell based on your written description. Why do you believe that signs are necessary? Where were you at the time? Is there supervision? The case would definitely be stronger if it was someone else's child who was involved in closing the door.
