Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

My son fell at daycare and hit his head on a marble window sill. He required 5 stitches and then a few days later developed an infection and was admitted to the hospital. The daycare said to bring in his medical bills after insurance pays their portion and they will review them. I am now being told that they will not pay them because they will be assuming liability and setting themselves up for future liability and precedents. I was recently told that they paid the medical bills for another child that had a chin injury while playing outside. If I decide to pursue this, do I have a case?

Talk to a personal injury attorney in your community to see whether these was any negligence on the part of the daycare center. The center does not have to pay the bills just because it happened there, even if they did it for another child.

Your consultation on this issue should be free. Good luck.

It's possible that you do have a case. A lot depends on what kind of agreements or paperwork you signed with the daycare facility. You had best consult with a local reputable personal injury trial attorney so that he could evaluate your case and determine whether it is worth pursuing.
