Legal Question in Product Liability in Indiana
foreign object in food
liquid diet canned product had what I believe to be a piece of ''flesh'' in product which I had in my mouth. should i trust ''them'' to analyze and be truthful or should I have analyzed and contact an attorney? I'm to send object and cans to them for testing.

Sending the evidence to the manufacturer is akin to asking the fox to guard the hens. The potential for something "happening" to the evidence is great.
It is a safer idea to contact a PI lawyer and have him/her arrange for testing at a private lab where you can remain in control of the evidence and the test results.
