Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

I had a eviction court date. I am the landlord and my tenant had an attorney from the legal ide. I was at the court room waiting for the judge and her attorney called and we talk for a minute. The tenant already left the place so the real reason was to be there just to get a date for the damage hearing. He spoke with the Clark and he gave us the date. The attorney filled out a paper showing that we both showed up for court but we did not went I front of the judge. After I left I was not sure if I should have gone. My question is: we got the damage date and I check in when I got to court but not sure if her attorney did that to avoid me to go I front of the judge. Would that make any difference? Because I know the judge would just give us a date. I just want to make sure that she would still have the eviction on her records, right?

The eviction is on record as the judge entered it. You just need to check with the clerk of the court to see what the court entered by way of an order the last time you were there.
