Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

My ex father in law got a loan for my vehicle. The vehicle has to be put in his name only cuz bank will put a lien on it. however if he shall die the loan will be paid off automatically. the vehicle is mine but if he dies how am i to get the vehicle and not his blood family. he wants to make sure i get vehicle and not his kids. what paperwork do i need to do to make sure that happens?

You need to add your name to the title as a joint tenant, with right of survivorship. But you should consult with an attorney to do this right.
