Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

Wills

How long after a person dies can a will be read? Does it have to be within the month? Or can it be within the year? I'm asking because we misplaced my father's will, and he died over a month ago.

Re: Wills

You still have plenty of time to probate his will. If you find it within the year, you are fine. I think the limit is two or three years after death.

Good luck.
