Legal Question in DUI Law in Iowa

DUI-appeal

I got a DUI a couple of months ago, and I refused to blow, my court date is 12-04. The DOT is telling me to surrender my license, but I can appeal it if i want to. How do I write an appeal and what all do i put in it?

I'm sure if you contact the DOT they'll tell you how they want your appeal formatted. On the other hand unless you've got a pretty good reason why you refused the test you're going to lose your license for a while. Even so you can still be convicted of DUI without a test result, did you know that?
