Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

The father of my son keeps threatening me saying he'll get full custody of my son. I was allowing up to recently to allow my son to go over there. I recently filed for child support and he wasn't happy about it and threatened to get full custody of my son. I was honestly just waiting for the child support to get figured out before I was going to allow him to go back over (I didn't want to deal with the backlash from his father) that being said I had numerous of people I don't know texting me stuff like "hey from one mother to another the the father of your son is doing drugs. I'm honestly concerned because I don't want drugs around my son but at the same time I can't verify if those allegations are true or not. So I was wondering if there is a way to get drug testing done on him and what happens if it comes back positive. I don't not mind my son going over there (like every other weekend visitations) just as long as there are no drugs and he isn't under the influence around my son. Also is there a way he could take my son away? I dont do drugs and my son always has his necessities. Any advice would be great. Thank you for you're time. (we have never been married and he has been under my care since he was born, he has never supported our son.)

Do you even have a custody and support order from the court? If you do not there's nothing you can do at this point.
