Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I have served a contempt of divorce decree on my ex. She was supposed to file her answer or motion by May 13. She hasn't. And she has not signed up for IowaCourts.gov either. I am going to file a motion for default judgment. Does that need to be served to her too, or can I mail it to her, or am I off the hook because she was supposed to register for electronic notification and hasn't yet?

I am not entirely sure that a default judgment is appropriate in a contempt action. Have the court set it down for hearing. If she doesn't show they may find her in contempt.
