Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Iowa
My son is 14 and an older women gave him and his friend the keys to her car while she was at the bar. My son drove her car and it resulted in an accident. He was charged with driving without a license and she was given a citation for giving the keys to a minor. The other day in our local newspaper under the sheriff's reports my sons incident was in there. My question is, is it legal for the paper to print my son's name but did not print the women's name or his friend who was 19 in the car?
