Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Iowa

I received the following e-mail by accident from our company CFO consultant. It was meant for by boss, the COO. His e-mail was in response to a question I had asked regarding the possibility of a company vehicle or a vehicle allowance, due to the amount of business travel to our other locations.
"Joe, I went back to read this e-mail again, having watched life style choices made, how she writes and the last paragraph tell you a lot about how she operates personally. She is a genuine product of an alcoholic family trying desperately to reform but a lot of baggage is still there" I would like to discuss, we need to be careful how we manage."
Thoughts are going through my mind at what is meant by his statements. I replied to him and cc'd by boss as well, explaing the message went to the wrong recipient and apologized for them misunderstanding my e-mail regarding the vehicle. I had shared with him once in private conversation the reason for my seperation, making it very clear how it was a good thing for our daughter and how we get a long much better after seperating when it comes to raising our daughter. Please advise, thank you.
