If you do not pay within the three days, your landlord will need to file an eviction action at your county courthouse. You will be served with notice of the lawsuit. There will be a hearing scheduled. If your only defense is that you cannot pay, likely the judge will order the eviction. Different counties have different time frames for all of this. You are not required to leave the property until ordered to do so by the judge. However, at that point, a judgment will be entered against you, which may affect your credit, employment, etc. You would need to weigh the importance of staying as long as possible against how important it is to avoid have a judgment entered against you.
