My wife and I bought a house from her Grandmother, with my wife's mother acting on her behalf legally due to alzheimers. Do all items in the house convey ownership to my wife and I?

If you are asking if you necessarily own all items of personal property in the house based on your purchase of the real estate, the answer is no. I hope you had a real estate attorney assist you with this transaction. If so, talk to him or her about your concerns. If not, I would suggest that you hire one.
