Legal Question in Social Security Law in Iowa
Iam a 26 year old single mother of a 4 year old boy. His father never paid a dime in child support and on June 21, 2008 he passed away. I went to social security to apply for it and they told me since my sons father didnt have enough work credits I cant get no help for my son. If i cant get child support and only can get welfare for 5 years how am I suppose to support my child until he is 18? I need to know is there anything financial out there that could help me
