Legal Question in Admiralty Law in Italy

Time-limit for action in damages (cargo) under MAlta Admiralty law

Supposing Maltese law is applicable, what is the time-limit provided for by such law, in case of action brought by cargo-owner for damages to said cargo occurred during sea carriage, due to fault of the sea carrier ?

I am not a Maltese lawyer, so I would strongly urge you to contact one. However, I will say that a reference source that I consulted suggests that the limitation would be 2 years. If you are aproaching that time, consult a Maltese lawyer quickly.
