Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Kansas

how do i fight an account garnishment on a debt that is more then three years old? The court issued a garnishment on an old debt and I thought the statue of limitation is three years. All of my accounts have been garnished leaving me penniless.

It isn't clear whar sugnificance the three year period you mentioned. If there is a Judgment, it needs to be renewed at least every five years. If there isn't a Judgment, you have options in stopping a Garnishment. You should consult directly with a debtor's rights attorney in your area. Provide as all of the relevant documents for them to evaluate your options.

Good luck
