Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas

I was driving down the road I past a police officer in the median in his affidavit he stated that as I past he observed the tag lamp was defective he then pulled on to the interstate and pursued me and ran my tag when he read the tag off the dispatcher misheard the number and entered the wrong tag number there was no record of the wrong tag and the officer then pulled me over he searched my vehicle and found pot after the search he gave a ticket for the tag lamp being out I have copies of the dash-cam that show that the tag lamp was on isn't it a clear indicator that the intention of the officer when observing the tag lamp out pulled into the interstate to pull me over does this warrant a suppression of evidence

It might. If there was no reasonable suspicion that a crime was being committed, there was no probable cause to pull the car over and search the vehicle. The light being on in the video could be a defense to the light ticket, which would also tend to call into question the reasonable suspicion to warant pulling the vehicle over.

Good luck
