Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas

a friend and I co signed a bond for a guy we thought was our friend when he was in a bind. now he is gone and we cannot get ahold of him, and he is no longer at his old address. if we cant find him by march tenth we will be responsible for his five thousand dollar bond. can the police or bond agent use his ssn# to locate if and where he is working or staying? or can they get ahold of his cell phone provider to find out what area he is in so we can contact that places police to look out for him? at last one of his charges is a felony. I really need help here. Thank you for your time and help

It does not sound like you have grounds to force a cell provider to divulge ant information. You can use what info you have to locate him. It sounds like you need to hire an attorney, private detective or bounty hunter to find him.
