If a child's name is spelled incorrectly in court documents are they legitimate?

The child or the Courts Order? Depending upon what type if "Court papers" they are, it us unlikely that it interferes with their parentage, or the marriage if thei parents. So, the misspelling probably didn't make the child illegitimate.

If the misspelling identifies a different child, the Order from it, nay not be effective. But, a transposition of a letter or two, probably doesn't render the Order void or null. If the child or parent(s) appeared in Court, and did not raise the issue if the misspelling, they may not be able to raise it to avoid an Order stemming from that case.
