Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

Do I file a Motion to establish parenting time in the county in which my daughter lives? My ex is refusing to give me her address to send her the paperwork once filed. Is there anything I can do? We just went to court in January to start child support and establish me as the father and place my name on the birth certificate.

Unless the Court in which your case was heard in January lost jurisdiction, you likely could file there. You could probably also use the address your Ex used then to send a copy of your motion and notice of hearing. These can be tricky. Even if you don't have an attorney argue the Motion in court, you should at least hire one to look over your documents before you file.

Good luck
