I have a question re: child custody...we have joint custody and share time equally, but it states in the decree that I have primary residential custody, what does that mean?

Primary residential custody canbe useful in a number of ways. Basically, it says that your home is the child's domicile. That means where the child lives for purposes of school districts, Congressional districting, where other offical records will list the child as living, where notices will be sent. etc.

Good luck
