Legal Question
My son was adopted at the age of 5, it is still possibe to get back child support for the first 5 years before adoption? His age is 22 now.

Since it has been 17 years since the last child support would have been due, it is probably too stale to be collected through the courts. But, consult directly with an attorney in your area to go over the documents in your case, before deciding whether to pursue collection of the support.
