Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kansas

My daughter is living with her boyfriend in his parent's house. Her furniture is stored in their garage and some is being used in the house. She wants to leave, but the boyfriend says he will burn everything if she does. How do we get her possessions?

Contact the parents, and explain the need to get the personal property. If need be, your daughter should have a police officer escort you all at the house, when you retrieve the items. Let the officer or dispatcher know of the threat to burn everything.
