Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Kansas

My landlord is threatening to have me arrested if i dont allow a person acting on his behalf(outlined in lease) access. My landlord lives out of state. We have agreed i move out on dec 29th and will owe him decembers rent. He has continuously called me names and threatened to have me arrested for trespassing. He sent me a 5 day pay or quit by email which I plan on leaving by then and he was informed of this since the beginning of the month. Can I be arrested for not allowing them access and what happens if he gains access by force?

If you do not allow the owner's designated agent in, you will likely he found L able for all damage and repairs/replacement they claim after you've moved out, as you will not have the benefit if a joint walk thru, to call nfirm the lack or more minimal damage you've caused while you've been there. It us highly unlikely that a policy officer or deputy would arrest you over this civil dispute between you and your landlord. If the agent breaks in, again the police will likely not do anything to them, unless they commit a crime.

Good luck
