Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Kansas

Do I have the right to refuse showing my house for the landlord if it says in my lease that only in the last 30 days can the owner show the house.? And am I in my rights to stay and finish the lease which is up August 2010?? My Landlord lives in California and wants to now sell the house, I signed a lease in Mid July 2009. It is up In Aug. 2010, Do I have rights??? She did E-mail me the night before to inform me that people would be coming over , but I do not check my E-mails when Im working. People just showed up and I had no idea that this was even going on about her wanting to sell the house. What are my rights as a tenant??

The contract controls and your landlord has to abide by it. Your landlord cannot violate your right to quiet enjoyment of the premises. You have the right to demand she cease showing the apartment in violation of your rights. Feel free to contact me if you do not wish to deal with her directly.
