Is it illegal to take a piture of a 17 year girl via internet? My daughter was guilted by a boy of 17 years to take her top off and he took a picture of her.

The transfer or dissemination of such a photograph violates man of the anti-child pornography laws of the federal government and many states. The 17 year old that originally took the photograph is not likely to be prosectued criminally for taking the photo, as it appears under the facts you describe that she posed for the topless photo. But, once he turns 18, it may be illegal for him to possess the photograph in hared copy or on the hard drive aof any computer or storage device.
