Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kansas

If you talk to a lawyer about a case and give him/her info are they considered 'your lawyer' or do you have to have a signed paper? Also can they give the 'other side' info you have given them?

Many attorneys offer a free or low cost initial consultation. They may not bind the attorney to take any scion on your behalf. But, it does create an attorney/client relationship. Therefore, the attorney may not divulge private information gathered in the consultation.

If you are questioning whether you have an attorney acting on behalf or opposed to your interests, contact that attorney immediately
