Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky

if a couple take the bankruptcy and then get a divorce is one held fully responsible if the other party does not pay?

It is wise to consult with an attorney that practices both bankruptcy and family law, which I do. If you get a discharge of debt from the bankruptcy, then neither party will be liable. However, it becomes very complicated if one person does not want to take bankruptcy.
