Legal Question

I am wanting to know about bankruptcy. I have a credit card that is in my name. I don't want to file and affect my husband in any way. We have a loan in his name, but it has mine on it too. Our house is in his name and I am a co-signer on it. Can I file on my credit card without it affecting my husband. I was not even sure if I could file. Thank you.
